Employment type:
Full‑time, onsite, 100%. Travel up to 5% required.
Salary range: $82,000 – $164,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Security clearance:
Secret (current). U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable Secret clearance are required.

This role, known internally as Principal System Administrator / Principal Analyst – Infrastructure Workplace Services, collaborates with cross‑functional teams to support classified programs and infrastructure solutions.
What You Will Do- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software for classified programs, including server management, storage management, cross‑platform authentication, data backup and restoration, license configuration, and workstation support.
- Understand Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, AD, replication).
- Team member in a fast‑paced technological environment; troubleshoot moderate‑to‑high‑scope technical problems involving hardware and OS integration.
- Understand data RAID, backup technologies, and install/configure end‑user software applications.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, provide documentation, training, and other tasks as assigned.
- Obtain DoDD 8140/8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
- Develop solutions and documentation for a variety of technical problems.
- Support 24×7 operations and be available beyond standard hours when needed.
- Travel up to 5% as required.
- Maintain a full‑time onsite presence.
- At least a bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with three years of relevant experience.
- Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance (current).
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience administering Windows or Linux systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, or networking administration.
- VMware experience (highly desired).
- DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an Operating System certification.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS or DoD/RMF.
- In‑depth work with Windows Server.
- Experience with data storage (NAS, SAN) and solutions.
- Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes.
- VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX or other virtual computing methods experience.
- Support for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SMECP, or Exchange.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Shell scripting experience.
