Quality Test Engineer

Duration: 12 months, with strong potential to renew

Pay Rate: Roughly $30 W2 + Benefits / $34 C2C

Our client is a global leader in industrial manufacturing and a Fortune 100 company driving innovation across large-scale mining technology. They’re seeking a hands-on Quality/Test Engineer to support mission-critical systems that power some of the world’s largest mining operations. This is an opportunity to work on advanced hardware/software platforms with a collaborative, cross-functional team supporting customers around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate hardware and software applications used in large-scale mining environments
• Resolve technical issues from customers and dealer partners
• Provide customer-facing support, issue tracking, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate across teams to escalate defects and ensure effective fixes
• Participate in New Product Introductions (NPI) and implement corrective action programs
• Lead or support internal training and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Mining preferred)
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience
• Technical proficiency in Azure, Linux, SQL Server, TCP/IP networking, and Microsoft platforms
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and reports
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting industrial or mining technologies
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
• Previous work in a global support or customer service environment

Soft Skills:

• Team-oriented, yet self-directed
• Comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Standard office environment with occasional mine site visits (PPE provided, partial boot reimbursement available)
