Job Title:
Embedded Software Engineer

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)

Location:
Northridge CA or on-site at our Linthicum, MD, or Tucson AZ (Onsite)

Pay: $45-60/hr on W2 without benefits/holiday/vacation

WORK SHIFT: 1st Shift (9/80A)

Looking for a Staff Engineer Embedded Software (IPT Lead) to support our SiAW program. Candidates should have a desire to learn new technologies and will join our innovative teams to develop, enhance, and maintain software on cutting-edge products and systems. The role involves working on software system efforts for the Software Development Team on the SiAW program. The position is on-site at our Northridge, CA, Linthicum, MD, or Tucson, AZ facilities.

• Lead engineering teams supporting Flight Software and Ground Support Equipment Software.
• Manage the entire Software development efforts.
• Plan, organize, and manage technical activities.
• Serve as a Cost Account Management (CAM) lead and present to senior management on cost, schedule, and technical risks and opportunities.
• Perform integration and development hardware systems.
• Promote a collaborative environment across disciplines and organizations to solve problems proactively.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 6 years.
• Experience leading engineering teams or projects.
• Previous CAM & EVMS duties and responsibilities.
• Risk/Opportunity/Issue management experience with complex hardware and software systems.
• Experience with electronics integration into system-of-systems.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.

• Ability to obtain an SAP clearance.
• Experience with complex issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Experience with Flight Software.
• Extensive experience with software and system architecture.
