Senior Windchill Application Administrator

What You Will Do

• Respond to help desk tickets or project‑driven tasks for existing production areas, including executing standard procedures for sustainment, deployment, minor patching, or major upgrades of multiple applications such as Apache web server, Red Hat Linux operating system, Oracle database, etc.
• Deploy the PDM tool‑suite for new production areas.
• Create and perform acceptance testing for new versions of the PDM tool‑suite.
• Follow, update, and author technical documentation to complete the tasks listed above.
• Mentor, train, and assist other members of the team.
• Manage projects, actively engaging with individuals from multiple functions (cybersecurity, system administrators, program management, engineers, etc.) to collaborate with critical program and functional stakeholders to ensure effective and timely deployment of our PDM tool‑suite.
• Utilize problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills to lead efforts to resolve issues experienced in production areas.

This role provides dynamic opportunities to engage across functions, programs, and business units. Team members gain a wide breadth of understanding of Raytheon products and processes, and advanced PTC Windchill application training will be provided.

• University degree or equivalent experience, minimum 8 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience with Linux/Unix commands, operations, and administration.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Compatible with relocation support. This position is eligible for relocation support. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD – 203,000 USD.
