Technical Editor

West Land Engineering and Environmental Services, a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking a Technical Editor to review and edit technical documents while coaching others in clear writing practices. This position may be located in our Phoenix or Tucson office.

• Reviewing, formatting, and editing scientific and technical documents.
• Providing document writers with feedback (redlines and comments) to improve clarity and ensure audience relevance.
• Coordinating projects and priorities across multiple Cultural Resource teams.
• Managing documents, including End Note citations and quality‑assurance compliance.
• Organizing, maintaining, and recording project submittal files.

• Associate's degree in a related field (English, communications, or similar). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Four (4) or more years of experience specializing in document production and/or technical editing.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (Word), Adobe Acrobat, and other PDF tools; other document‑production software knowledge.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS documents is an asset.
• Experience working with a wide range of diverse clients.
• Highly effective communication and organization skills.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects with competing stakeholders.

Wage range: $30.00 – $34.50 per hour.
