• Ensure Pueblo Mechanical & Controls – Tucson’s core value of safety is lived and followed by all.
• Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Federal, State and Local regulations, and Owner/Contractual requirements.
• Perform daily on-site safety functions of the company.
• Develop project-specific site safety policy and procedures.
• Conduct safety orientation sessions for new employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments and implement controls for hazardous working conditions or unsafe team member activities.
• Conduct on-site safety and equipment trainings.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and preventative measures.
• Ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.
• Work with all levels of Pueblo Mechanical & Controls – Tucson employees and subcontractors.
• Utilize a continuous improvement approach to safety.

• 3-5 years of experience in construction safety.
• Bi‑Lingual Preferred English/Spanish.
• Knowledge of OSHA, local safety laws, and other regulatory agencies.
• Sound/ethical judgment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

• Extensive travel by vehicle.
• Significant work at construction job sites, during all stages, in all types of weather conditions.
• Perform activities requiring use of arms and legs, including climbing ladders/scaffolding, lifting & handling materials, walking & balancing and stooping.
• Speak & hear detailed information through oral communication.
• See clearly and recognize small details.
