What You Will Get

• BUILD YOUR OWN SCHEDULE! You are required to work at least 20 hours per week
  , with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Hours can be scheduled available shift hours. Hours available will vary.
• Part-Time Benefit Program
• Starting Pay Rate: $15.95/hour.

What You Will Do

• You will work in various assembly functional areas to safely build excavators.

As a Part Time Production Technician - FLEX, you will:

• Perform routine production tasks in assembly, fabrication, paint, or other areas while upholding Caterpillar’s core values.
• Follow documented procedures to safely and accurately assemble components using basic tools and equipment.
• Operate machinery, blasting and painting applications, and perform basic tack and straight-line welds.
• Support continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and adhering to safety, quality, and standard work protocols.

Basic Qualifications

• Work or volunteer experience

Top candidates will also have:

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience working in a team-based environment.
• Experience working in manufacturing or with basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations.
• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Additional Information

• Must be able to adhere to the following schedule for training:

• Monday: 7AM-11AM
• Tuesday-Thursday: 7AM-3:30PM
• Friday: 7AM-11AM (or later)
