Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
Location: Tucson, AZ
Position Type: Contract / Full-Time (Local Candidates Only)
Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: Up to $2,400 per week
Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at a respected hospital in Tucson, Arizona. This is a day shift role designed for local candidates only. The ideal candidate will have strong Cath Lab experience, the ability to respond to STEMI calls, and a solid understanding of advanced cardiac equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, including STEMI alerts.
- Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment, including Impella, IABP, and ANARI.
- Document nursing care accurately in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact license).
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Experience with STEMI response protocols.
- Proficient in operating Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and ANARI systems.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Competitive weekly compensation – up to $2,400/week
