Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
Location: Tucson, AZ
Position Type: Contract / Full-Time (Local Candidates Only)
Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: Up to $2,400 per week
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at a respected hospital in Tucson, Arizona
. This is a day shift role designed for local candidates only
. The ideal candidate will have strong Cath Lab experience, the ability to respond to STEMI calls, and a solid understanding of advanced cardiac equipment and procedures.
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures.
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, including STEMI alerts.
Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment, including Impella, IABP, and ANARI.
Document nursing care accurately in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Requirements:Active RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact license).
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
Experience with
STEMI response protocols.
Proficient in operating Impella
, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and ANARI systems.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
