Requirements / Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience
- Must be licensed in the state of Arizona
- Able to float between Peds and PICU
- Must complete full contract commitment (13, 26, or 39 weeks)
- $60/hour
- Shift differentials:
- 10% for evening shifts (3 PM – 11 PM)
- 17% for night shifts (11 PM – 7 AM)
- Living expense allowance of $750 biweekly for those residing 100+ miles outside Tucson
- 13-week contracts are temporary and not benefits-eligible
- 26- and 39-week contracts are benefits-eligible
- Must pass physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Must not be listed on the DHHS Exclusion List
Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
ExperienceOne year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Licensure or CertificationCurrent RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS). Additional certification may be required for some specialties.
For Hospice & Pediatrics areas, a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card within 6 months of hire and CPI training may be required.
