Verovian Nursing Agency seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical-Surgical unit in Tucson, Arizona.

As part of the Medical Surgical team, you will care for patients with various medical conditions, monitoring their recovery and providing high-quality patient care throughout the night. You will be an essential member of our healthcare team, ensuring patients receive personalized care and attention during their hospital stay.

Job specification

• Assess and monitor patients during the night shift, providing appropriate care and interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and care for post-surgical patients.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and support.
• Document patient progress and report any significant changes to physicians and other care providers.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Candidate requirements

• 1-2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle the challenges of night shift care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
