As a Registered Nurse within our Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner University Medical Center - Tucson, there are exciting opportunities to be a part of the health care transformation. We are known nationally as an innovative leader in new health care models and are on the cutting edge of medical advances
The RN will be responsible for circulating and monitoring Cath/EP cases which includes patient assessments, medication administration, documentation and collaboration with fellow staff/physicians/fellows. This position does require wearing lead for every procedure and transporting patients. There’s also interactions required with vendor reps for different devices used in the lab. Cases include planned outpatients, inpatients, and emergencies.
** The preferred candidate must have experience working in Cath Lab, CVICU, CVOR, EP, or IR to be considered.

** 3 12's Monday - Friday
** Call Requirement:
** Late Call (7-11pm), Overnight Call (M-F 7p-7a), Weekend Call (Sat-Sun 7a to 7a)-Averaging 5-8 shifts a month.

POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
