Better Than Ever for Nurses. This means investing in the holistic health and happiness of our nurses—through better pay, better benefits, better opportunities and a better community. At Banner Health, we take care of nurses. Nurses take care of everyone.
Banner Health has earned Great Place To Work® Certification™ for the third consecutive year. We’re committed to a workplace culture where team members trust the people they work for, take genuine pride in their work, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues.
NICU nurses at Banner University Medical Center – Tucson have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of Diamond Children’s Medical Center, collaborating closely with Women and Infant Services (WIS), Fetal Surgery, Pediatrics, and a comprehensive Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) program.
We are a licensed 36-bed Level IV NICU, providing highly specialized, developmentally sensitive care for critically ill and premature infants. Our unit is designed for both function and comfort, featuring three distinct “neighborhoods,” each with three pods of four bed spaces, as well as two nesting rooms for family rooming‑in, particularly for NAS care.
As a NICU nurse in our Level IV facility, you’ll care for infants with complex medical needs, including severe cardiac anomalies and surgical conditions, in close collaboration with our expert fetal surgery team. Our family-centered care model emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, involving developmental therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, PT/OT specialists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and 24/7 neonatology support. If you're passionate about providing the highest level of care in a supportive, team-driven environment, we invite you to bring your expertise and compassion to our NICU team.
This is a full time VARIED shift position.
This role may work either day, night and/or weekend shifts as needed for the unit. Enjoy a 18% night shift differential and flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
