Tucson Wildlife Center was established in 1998 by Lisa Bates and Peter Lininger, and became a 501(c)3 in 2000. At that time, we were immediately available to take in wild animals that had no where else to go.

From that point on, animals began pouring through the front door of the center.

Services provided by Tucson Wildlife Center include an emergency helpline operating 24/7, capture and transportation of injured animals, a 24-hour emergency room, staff wildlife veterinarians on call 24/7, rehabilitation, release, and education. We specialize in the treatment and release of animals such as javelina, birds of prey, and coyotes. All services are provided free to the public.

Company History
Tucson Wildlife Center has been rescuing sick, injured and orphaned wild animals for more than 25 years. Our largely volunteer-operated nonprofit provides rescue and release services, veterinary care and rehabilitation expertise all free of charge to the public. Our Center operates on donations and grants and receives no government funding.

In addition to direct animal care, TWC staff and volunteers provide educational opportunities to the community to teach about habitat protection and peaceful coexistence with wildlife.

Tucson Wildlife Center is hiring a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join their hard-working rehabilitation team full-time. The DVM will be required to maintain an active license in the state of Arizona in good standing or can apply for an Arizona license, and DEA registration.
