WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: The highest scoring applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a testing process which will consist of two components:
Applicants will be scored on their ability to analyze utility work order data, identify trends, present findings clearly, and demonstrate analytical thinking.

ABOUT THIS JOBThe Management Analyst II position in the City of Tucson’s Water Department supports the Customer Service Division with critical data management and further supports the successful execution of ongoing high‑priority initiatives. This position serves as a pivotal role in data analysis of existing processes and systems while focusing on identifying insufficiencies and serves as a liaison for the division in analytical analysis.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Water Administrator. This position does not supervise.
Essential duties- Conduct research, gather data, and perform analytical studies on departmental programs, policies, and operations; identify inefficiencies, recommend process changes, and contribute to implementation research and development.
- Prepare analytical reports, presentations, charts, summaries, and other written materials that clearly communicate findings and support management decision‑making.
