The Madhavan Lab in the Department of Neurology is seeking candidates for one full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate I position. The program is accepting applications from highly motivated candidates interested in working on a collaborative NIH-funded project with the Torsten Falk lab to study the therapeutic effects of novel drugs in PD rodent models and related aspects. The incumbent will possess the drive required to work independently, collaboratively, and publish findings.

The postdoctoral candidate will benefit from training with two experienced mentors and the diverse, rich, and interdisciplinary research environment at the University of Arizona, which has a strong tradition in neuroscience and aging research.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Background inneurobiology, neurodegeneration and related experimentation.

• PhDor MD/PhD in neuroscience, molecular cellular biology, or related field.

• Experience in working with rodent models.
