The Role:

As our Sales BDC Manager, you will lead a team of BDC Coordinators, driving appointment generation and customer engagement that fuels our sales pipeline. Reporting to our Sales Managers, you will oversee phone and internet lead response, coach your team to excellence, and implement data-driven strategies to increase appointment volume and show rates. This role bridges marketing, sales, and customer service—ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to hospitality and integrity.

Key

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales BDC Coordinators, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a positive, goal-oriented environment

  • Participate in lead handling, issue resolution, and scheduling appointments by answering and handling guest communications via email, chat, phone, etc.

  • Drive appointment growth by optimizing lead handling processes, response times, and follow-up strategies

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics, including appointment set rates, show rates, and lead conversion to continuously improve performance

  • Implement and refine BDC processes, scripts, and workflows to enhance customer experience and team efficiency

  • Utilize CRM systems to track performance, identify trends, and generate actionable reports for Sales Management

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to ensure seamless customer handoffs and alignment on departmental goals

  • Train and coach team members on Toyota products, effective communication techniques, and best practices for customer engagement

  • Handle escalated customer inquiries with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach

  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new BDC team members

Qualifications:
  • Required:

    Previous experience in an automotive BDC environment

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems

  • Commitment to ethical business practices and exceptional customer service

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
