Archaeology Laboratory Arizona State Museum (ASM) Coordinator Responsibilities
- Submit Arizona State Museum (ASM) quote for services and pay invoice in coordination with project manager
- Complete and submit ASM paperwork (including NOI, accession, project specific permit application, burial discovery agreement, repository agreement forms, project registration forms)
- Complete ASM/AZSITE site card modules.
- Schedule and conduct Class I records checks at the ASM and other agencies
- Compile and submit ASM registrations.
- Report ASM project progress to the Laboratory Director.
- Apply repository requirements for preparation, handling, and storage of archaeological project collections at the direction of the Collections Manager.
- Complete curation tasks as detailed by the repository in which the curation agreement is held at the direction of the Collections Manager.
- Implement proper artifact handling, cleaning, labeling, treatment, and storage techniques appropriate for artifact type.
- Meet deadlines and project budgets while ensuring quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and company information.
- Support open, cooperative, and engaged communication.
- Actively participate in meetings and contribute positively to the company's team.
- Ensure effective coverage for areas of responsibility.
- Perform duties in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Associate's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior related archaeology experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Access.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment.
- Familiarity with ASM procedures and requirements preferred.

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
