Job SummaryWe are looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report, while providing customer service.
Part time position, 16+ hours a week, primarily Thursday‑Friday. 12PM‑8PM Work Schedule.
Essential Duties- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
- Take necessary actions towards trespassers to ensure campus safety.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and complete a daily activity report.
- Report in detail any suspicious activity or emergencies to your supervisor.
- Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
- Collaborate with team members for effective coverage and protection.
- Conduct regular security patrols of buildings and perimeter.
- Monitor and control access of building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Monitor video cameras and provide customer service in main lobby.
- Sign in visitors and assist clients and complete sign-out procedures.
- Secure buildings and check doors and locks during opening and closing procedures.
- Perform first aid or CPR if necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven work experience as a security guard or related position preferred.
- Surveillance skills and experience required.
- Helpful and courteous behavior.
- Must be able to meet training and organization requirements for the position.

- Must possess or be able to qualify for and maintain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One fingerprint clearance card.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the organization's automobile policy.

- Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. May have to work outside in all weather conditions as needed.
