Security Officer - Unarmed, Tucson, AZ

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.

Pay Rate: $16.54 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
