About the Role
We are looking for a Data Center Technician with an electrical expereince to support the operations, maintenance, and repair of our critical infrastructure. While experience in data centers is a plus, we welcome candidates with backgrounds in industrial, mission-critical, or commercial facilities. This role involves working as part of a 24/7 operations team, ensuring that electrical and mechanical systems run smoothly, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
If you have a strong electrical background, experience with critical infrastructure, and a problem-solving mindset, we encourage you to apply—even if you don’t have direct data center experience.
- Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems that support our data center.
- Monitor and assess building systems, performing routine and emergency maintenance.
- Assist with operations of key infrastructure, including switch gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution, chillers, and rooftop HVAC.
- Use the CMMS system to manage and track maintenance work orders.
- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and other safety and operational standards.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Electrician with hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, or mission-critical environments.
- HVAC experience is preferred (but an HVAC license is not required).
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge of systems such as generators, switch gear, UPS, chillers, and power distribution.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with physical tasks (lifting up to 39 lbs, moving equipment, working in various conditions).
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe, CMMS systems).
