Salary range $18-21 per hour, depending on years of experience and certifications.

- Assist the lead Alarm & Detection Technician in inspecting, installing, repairing and/or replacing fire alarm equipment.
- Learn to conduct preventive maintenance services pertaining to various manufacturers' equipment.
- Learn all aspects of a project from installation to programming, troubleshooting, and service work, with a focus on customer communication.
- Aim to move into a Technician role within WSFP in the future.

- Fire Alarm system troubleshooting techniques
- Analysis of blueprints
- Desires a career in fire protection
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of NICET Level 1 exam within the first year of employment
- Experience with technology (iPad, smartphone, etc.)
- Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy
- Clean appearance and reliable transportation in accordance with Company Health & Safety Pocketbook
- Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
