As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you’ll safely load, haul, and dump materials while optimizing cycle times. You’ll collaborate with many different team members while working independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience with dozers, excavators, graders, and haul/water trucks is an asset.

Essential Responsibilities- Operate various pieces of heavy equipment targeted at loading, hauling and dumping
- Safely build pioneer roads in native terrain
- Load trucks safely and efficiently; set up dumps for optimal cycle times, striping and separating organized materials for the loading units
- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Maintain equipment in excellent working condition, report and log maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with team members across different disciplines
- Previous experience operating dozers, excavators, graders and water/haul trucks in construction, heavy civil or mining environments is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid MSHA P. 48 with surface, metal and non‑metal certifications
- Project‑based position with rotating days, working 12 hours per day
- Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and are paid time and a half

Salary: $78,000–$110,000.
