The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) partners with families and communities to strengthen families, ensure safety, and achieve permanency for children. As a Case Aide—Parenting Time Coordinator, you will create tailored parenting time plans, lead and coach other case aides, and contribute to service quality and staffing outcomes.

• Collaborate with DCS Specialists, supervisors, and parents to develop tailored parenting time plans.
• Participate in clinical supervision parenting time discussions and case meetings (Team Decision Making, Adult Team, Child and Family Team).
• Collect and document parenting time plan data for children in out‑of‑home care.
• Consult with the Program Manager to review trends and develop action plans.
• Provide coaching to Parenting Time Case Aides to improve quality and documentation.

• Knowledge of DCS parenting‑time policy, SAFE AZ model, Child Development, and family systems.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams).
• Interpersonal, verbal/written communication, observation, conflict resolution, time management.
• Ability to lead and coach, understand laws and policies, organize data, prepare reports, maintain CPR certification.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Pass background investigation, DCS Central Registry check, E‑Verify, and state driver‑record check.

• Two years experience as a DCS Case Aide or contractor as a parent aide or visitation aide.
