The TGO Gaming Inspector 2 Technician is the second step in the TGO (Tribal Gaming Office) Inspector series. Incumbent will apply general knowledge of Tribal Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, department policies, and procedures. The Gaming Inspector in this class can expect to be assigned to any functional area within the TGO, including rotating job assignments; rotating shifts & varied work schedules.

- Prepare and proofread a variety of reports and/or documentation;
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer and related software applications;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co‑workers, supervisor, management, Council members, and the public. Have ability to sufficiently exchange or convey information and receive verbal and written work instructions.
Associate's Degree and three (3) years of TGO/Regulatory gaming experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of job such as those listed above. Equivalent experience may include positions where the applicant has worked in an oversight, compliance, and/or internal controls environment. Such experience would typically be gained through positions such as Compliance, Internal Auditing, Regulatory Review, or similar type of work experience.
SELECTIONCRITERIA
FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES: After meeting the knowledge, essential skills, training and experience requirements, candidates are invited to take a scored written test and a scored oral board; top 25% scoring candidates will be referred to the hiring Director for consideration.
