Join the Software Engineering Directorate’s Effectors Center team, contributing to real‑time embedded software for missiles, launchers, radars, and naval systems. Work in a fast‑paced agile environment on the leading edge of real‑time systems design, digital signal processing, machine learning, cyber security, and Dev Ops technologies.

• Assist and participate in requirements, design, development and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain configuration management of software products.
• Obtain any required program access.

• Use new tools that keep you state‑of‑the‑art.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in software development and missile technology to drive innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C, C++, or Java.
• Active transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required before start with ability to obtain special program access.

• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system software design, operating systems, and architectures.
• Experience with assembly, C/C++ programming, and structured programming concepts.
• Knowledge of object‑oriented design and UML.
• Knowledge of statistical and numerical methods.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and leaders in a team environment.

$66,000 – $130,000 USD (good faith estimate). Actual compensation depends on experience, role, and location.
