U.S. citizenship is required for a security clearance. An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret clearance is required prior to start date. This is an onsite only role; remote work is not available.

• Collaborate in a multi‑disciplinary team to develop software to control Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HWIL) facilities (flight simulators for missiles).
• Design, code and integrate software in a real‑time environment.
• Travel up to 20% to support development and delivery of test environment equipment.

• System level knowledge of the products the HWIL department supports.
• Working across a multi‑disciplined group of engineers.
• Development and integration of software for an HWIL system.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant software development experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with software development in C++, using object‑oriented features.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) required prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) security clearance.
• SSBI requires citizenship verification, credit and financial history, check of spouse or partner, interviews with references, foreign contact checks, and various federal screenings.

• Computer Science or Software Engineering degree.
• Experience contributing to the design, development or integration of test equipment and/or hardware control software.
• Strong organization, coordination, planning, and teaming skills with written and oral communication proficiency.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Experience developing software on Linux operating systems.
• Some comprehension of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) terminology.
