Senior Embedded Software Security Engineer

Senior Embedded Software Security Engineer role supporting real-time security software for deployed missile systems in Tucson, AZ.

• Apply real-time software design practices and evaluate performance implications tied to specific System Security implementations
• Support application and embedded software design, development, integration, and testing for real-time missile software
• Use System Security principles when designing and implementing Missile software applications
• Develop C and C++ software applications across multiple computing platforms
• Connect implementation-level work to the missile system “big picture” and develop or review source‑level solutions
• Partner with the Systems Security Engineering team to define and implement requirements
• Work in a shared development environment to enable program capability and reuse of specific features
• Interface with the customer community to review technical design and help support verification of system maturity

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant software experience
• Experience with C / C++
• Experience with Xilinx Ulta Scale+ MPSoC

  , or similar embedded processors
• Experience with embedded OS such as Vx Works ,
  Embedded Linux

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Level U.S. security clearance prior to the start date, with the ability to obtain program access after start
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
• DoD clearance: Secret

• Experience in Agile and Dev Sec Ops  environments
• Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks and development environments
• Experience with software configuration management and bug tracking tools
• Experience with Python / Perl
• Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies including PCIe, GPIO, I2C, SATA; FPGAs; ASICs
