As a Fitness Instructor at Canyon Ranch, you’ll be responsible for instructing Wellness/Fitness classes and ensuring guest comfort, safety and enjoyment during classes. Your fitness class schedule may include aerobic exercise, muscle toning, strength and endurance, and stretching. As a fitness guru, you’ll be a pro at assisting guests with proper body alignment, equipment and safety of classes and cardiovascular and weight equipment.

• A group fitness and personal trainer certification is required upon first 90 days.
• Must be available on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Pay starts at $25 per hour.

• A minimum of two years teaching experience in the fitness industry required.
• A college degree related to fitness preferred (physical education, exercise science, dance, etc.) with a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge required.

• Must maintain CECs to keep National Group Exercise and Personal Training Certifications current.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and work with a diverse group of people.
