Delivery Specialist - Hub at O'Reilly Auto Parts

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center, maintaining a legal state driver's license and meeting company driving eligibility requirements.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, delivering to the appropriate store.
• Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, keys, and fluid levels secure; log mileage and check oil, radiator, transmission, etc. before operating the vehicle.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and ensure the fuel tank is filled, then lock and secure the vehicle at end of day.
• Follow accident report guidelines and report incidents immediately.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies invoices and signs the route manifest.
• Deliver deliveries according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores on route.
• Project a professional, personable image to maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Drive safely and defensively at all times.

• Requirement:
  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Requirement:
  Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Requirement:
  Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Requirement:
  Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Desired:
  Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
