Senior Principal Product Manager, Integrations (Ecommerce, Design Tools & ML/AI Strategy)

Location:

Seattle, WA (Hybrid: 1-2 days/week in office).

Open to remote for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting directly to the VP of Product & Design, the Senior Principal Product Manager for Integrations will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of RPI/Blurb's connected ecosystem, where creative design, commerce, and intelligent automation converge. In this highly visible role, the PM will collaborate closely with the executive team and cross‑functional senior leaders across Engineering, Data Science, Business Operations, Marketing, and strategic external partners to define and execute the platform integration strategy.

They will drive how millions of creators, publishers, and brands design, publish, and sell their products across global channels, architecting the vision that allows creators to design anywhere—using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe—and sell everywhere via seamless integrations with Shopify, Woo Commerce, Big Commerce, and emerging marketplaces. The PM will forge and expand partnerships with leading technology platforms to co‑develop integrations, establish shared technical standards, and deliver world‑class user experiences that broaden RPI/Blurb's reach and impact.

Their influence will span product and technical strategy to executive decision‑making, shaping RPI/Blurb's long‑term growth trajectory and leading end‑to‑end product innovation at scale.

Core Responsibilities
  • Customer Focus:
    Relentlessly focus on creator and publisher needs to make designing and selling easier. Translate insights into intuitive integrations and workflows that eliminate friction, unlock creativity, and expand revenue opportunities across ecommerce channels.
  • Strategic Vision &

    Roadmap:

    Define, communicate, and champion Blurb's platform integration vision and multi‑year roadmap. Set priorities, evaluate opportunities, and align stakeholders around transformative goals for seamless multi‑channel commerce and creative workflows.
  • API, MCP & ML/AI Architecture Stewardship:
    Drive the technical strategy for seamless and scalable integrations between Blurb's creation tools and ecommerce channels—leveraging RESTful APIs, MCP frameworks, and ML/AI‑powered capabilities to streamline content creation, automate design processes, and simplify distribution across multiple online stores and platforms.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership:
    Exercise strong leadership across product, engineering, design, data science, business operations, and go‑to‑market teams. Build and nurture relationships to align on objectives, resolve strategic tradeoffs, and drive execution.
  • Strategic Partner Engagement:
    Foster and expand partnerships at the executive level with leading industry platforms, ensuring mutual business value, shared technical standards, and world‑class integrated user experiences. Represent Blurb externally at industry forums, collaborate on platform strategy topics, and mentor PM talent internally.
  • User Experience & Workflow Optimization:
    Guide product and engineering teams in delivering secure, streamlined, and delightful integration flows for creators. Enforce high standards for privacy, regulatory compliance, and robust platform reliability.
  • Metrics, Experimentation & Continuous Improvement:
    Set and track KPIs for adoption, partner success, channel sales, ML/AI impact, and user satisfaction. Lead a culture of data‑driven experimentation and iterative improvement (i.e., fail fast).
Required Experience
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years at the Principal or Senior PM level.
  • Proven success leading integration or platform architecture products across APIs, partner ecosystems, ecommerce, or design SaaS environments.
  • Experience launching and scaling integrations with platforms such as Shopify, Woo Commerce, Canva, or Figma.
  • Strong technical fluency in API design, ML/AI strategy, and platform interoperability.
  • Exceptional cross‑functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field (required).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred).
  • Product, Agile, or ML/AI certifications (AIPMM, Pragmatic, MIT Sloan, etc.) a plus.
Work Arrangement & Travel
  • Hybrid: 1–3 days per week in our Seattle office, with remote flexibility otherwise.
  • Quarterly 3–4 day onsite sessions for team collaboration and ideation (Seattle, Rochester, or Atlanta).
  • Occasional travel for partner meetings and industry events.
