Inside Parts Sales Associate

The Very Reputable Manufacturer of Sophisticated Marine Deck Machinery used in a variety of marine applications (fishing vessels, oceanographic research, etc).

This is a newly created position due to sustained growth in the company. This will be a hybrid role (2/3 in office, 1/3 from home once trained).

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

The Inside Sales Associate will work the customer and internal cross‑functional resources to determine and provide solutions for unique aftermarket parts needs. Highly collaborative and ambiguous role that requires a self‑starter attitude.

• Collaborate with the end user of OEM equipment to determine the need and solution to a wide variety of aftermarket part needs.
• Proactively follow up and communicate with the customer.
• Help and guide the customer to identify the correct part needed.
• Research the part information.
• Identify the correct cost for the parts.
• Create quotes for the customer.
• Create purchase requisitions and/or work orders to procure the parts.

• At least 2 years of inside sales experience in an equipment manufacturing environment. Technical experience interpreting engineering drawings/schematics strongly preferred.
• Excellent and proven customer service skills.
• Straightforward with strong integrity and an exceptional customer service mindset.
• Effective communicator, comfortable communicating at all levels within an organization and in the marketplace. Written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills must be excellent.
• Comfortable understanding, interpreting, and manipulating computer‑generated data, information, reports, and pertinent software applications (MS Excel, MRP, MS Word, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Experience with Netsuite and/or SAP preferred.
