Reviews, develops, and modifies, as required, both short-term and long-term forecasted aircraft planning and maintenance schedules. Monitors operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events. Coordinates operator recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled maintenance activities. Responsible for the efficient planning of Line Maintenance, aircraft modifications, and other maintenance events as directed. Must clearly and efficiently communicate and coordinate maintenance plans with other supporting groups.
Participate in continuous briefings of a daily fleet-wide mechanical status to members of management.
- Creates and issues line and base maintenance level work packages
- Reconciles maintenance plans to accommodate operational events
- Development and management of airplane inspection program documents to meet regulatory requirements.
- Assists in monitoring operational activities and reporting activities to the customer.
Hard Skillset/background/education requires (top 1-5):
- Aircraft heavy maintenance and /or line maintenance planning experience
- Aircraft Maintenance Program (scheduled maintenance) experience
- Aircraft Maintenance MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) experience
Preferred
- FAA A&P license
- Trax or similar maintenance planning software experience related to maintenance record keeping (huge plus)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
