Job Title: Room Attendant

Job Description: The Room Attendant’s primary responsibility is to clean areas at the hotel facility where guests have spent or will spend time during their stay. The role includes responsibility for linens, supplies, and performing a wide range of cleaning tasks across guest rooms, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, landings, elevators, stairways, kitchens, and locker rooms.

The Room Attendant performs the following duties:

• Sorts, counts, folds, and transports linens to various site locations.
• Makes beds in guest rooms.
• Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, and bathroom supplies.
• Cleans rooms, kitchens, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, landings, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes windows, walls, door panels, sills, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Empties waste baskets.
• Cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash to waste disposal area.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
