The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.
The Dayton division is currently searching for an Analyst 4 (A4) with demonstrated experience in PIR exploitation and advanced GEOINT analysis. The candidate will perform daily analysis and production in support of the multiple mission threads, including atmospheric and meteorological data assessment, data analysis, emitter and fiducial identification, and full-spectrum GEOINT exploitation across EO, IR, SAR, and other advanced ISR modalities.
Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary technical team and must possess strong oral and written communication skills to convey complex analytical findings clearly and effectively. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, technical curiosity, and critical thinking skills while working within a fast-paced operational environment.
Most of the work directly supports the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community, requiring a diverse combination of exploitation skills, mission understanding, and disciplined task management. This position offers the opportunity to contribute immediately to high-impact, mission-critical analysis and production. An active TS/SCI clearance is desired. Work is performed onsite in the Dayton, Ohio area.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support time-constrained and content-dominant analysis (TC3/CD).
- Participate in mission operations, RFI responses, QC processes, and dissemination workflows.
- Support INDOPACOM first, but also EUCOM & CENTCOM as required.
- Collaborate with engineers, AI/ML R&D teams, and mission partners.
- Conduct PIR exploitation with emphasis on atmospheric and meteorological data impacts.
- Perform event characterization using environmental and spectral inputs.
- Identify, locate, and index emitters and fiducials in government databases.
- Conduct atmospheric feature identification and rapid reporting activities.
- Apply meteorological and climate data in operational PIR analytics.
- Perform full-spectrum GEOINT exploitation using:
- Electro-optical (EO)
- Infrared (IR)
- Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- Hyperspectral / spectral systems
- Conduct target detection, signature analysis, and ISR-driven mission support.
- Integrate multi-INT sources to produce tailored intelligence products.
- Interface with collection managers and ISR tasking entities.
- Create standard and non-standard reporting products, including GIS-based outputs.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent military/technical training.
- 12+ years of relevant analytic or exploitation experience in DoD or IC.
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
- Must be U.S. Citizens.
- Must reside within commuting distance to WPAFB, OH or be willing to relocate.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- PIR exploitation
- Atmospheric/meteorological data use & modeling
- Hyperspectral / spectral analysis
- Emitter / fiducial identification and cataloging
- ISR mission data exploitation
- GEOINT multi-modal analysis (EO/IR/SAR)
- Motion GEOINT
- Strong written communication skills, good people skills, attention to detail, desire to work in a technical team.
- Effective communication ability; collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams; document processes; present solutions to stakeholders.
- Prioritization, deadline management, multitasking across multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational skills; quick adaptation to new technologies and methodologies.
- Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
- Noise conditions range from very quiet to noisy.
- Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
- Frequently required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel by car, air, or other means if required.
