Perikin Enterprises is seeking a Project Coordinator for a position in Tullahoma, TN. Perikin is headquartered in Tullahoma, TN and provides management, engineering, and environmental services and executes construction projects for the Department of War (DoW), Department of Energy (DoE), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other organizations. This position is in support of Perikin's contracts to provide engineering services; program, project, financial, and information management;
and administrative support to our Government Customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing programmatic support to ensure the successful completion of the HSST and/or CTEIP Portfolios. The candidate will directly interface and assist government portfolio managers, project managers, and stakeholders through facilitation and coordination for complex projects.
This position offers a hybrid telework schedule.
JOB DUTIES- Assist the Project Managers, financial analysts, and engineers in the execution of project management processes, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Assist the project staff with scheduling, coordination, logistics, and generally facilitating efficient execution of Government acquisition processes.
- Assists in developing statements of work, performance work statements, or specifications documents.
- Communicate with senior management regarding the status of specific projects.
- Provide daily and weekly reports on highly visible tasks and projects.
- Monitor project budget and schedule progress from project startup to completion.
- Document and maintain the change management register and all associated reporting.
- Assists the project staff in identifying, mitigating, and documenting project risks.
- Coordinate the content collection of the status report for review and approval by Government officials.
- Provide project information in the execution mission objectives and assist in the future development of new acquisitions.
- Assist with the formulation of budget requirements and assist in the development of execution plans in accordance with programmatic requirements and technical objectives.
- Work with internal and external executing organizations to receive accurate and timely project execution information.
- Support the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Organize deliverable trackers and facilitates deliverables sign-off.
- Records and files meeting minutes, sighting action items for project meetings.
- Prepares project status, budget, and financial execution reports and presentations.
- Maintain excellent communication and coordination with teammates and Government customers.
- Maintain portfolio reporting template, formatting, and standardization for performers.
- Ensure performers adhere to reporting guidelines.
- Knowledge Management System (KMS) support
- Responsible for timely downloads of project submittals, uploads to AEDC file share, and communicating of file locations to appropriate team members.
- Maintain project file structure & organization.
- Summarize performer monthly submissions for portfolio reporting requirements.
- Attend portfolio meetings as required for appropriate work coordination.
- High School Diploma Required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred.
- Demonstrated record of proactive, self-initiated work ethic.
- Unwavering attention to detail, exemplary work ethic, and grace under pressure.
- Technical writing and formatting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with coworkers and executing organizations.
- Interest and desire in project management and project management process.
- Working knowledge of Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
- Potential for up to 10% travel.
- Work safely and professionally while adhering to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, Federal regulations, etc.).
- Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as job duties require.
- Comprehend & adhere to management directions and safety instructions with no restrictions.
- Effectively communicate in the Business English language.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
