Customer service position providing access credentials to visitors at Arnold Air Force Base, as well as identification cards (military  other common access cards) to base employees.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct verification and issue all Department of Defense (DoD) credentials to military, military retirees, and military dependents, DoD civilians and base contractor personnel.
  • Use Air Force systems and workstations to issue the Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Update CACs as necessary to reflect changes in personal information.
  • Terminate CACs as necessary and execute revocation requests.
  • Explains military  and entitlements to customers.
  • Issue other base access credentials to visitors such as vendors and test customers.
  • Account for and maintain security for all DoD Forms used in producing base credentials.
  • Verify, prepare and issue various types of entry and identification credentials.
  • Responsible for protecting the privacy/confidentiality of personnel data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to work at Arnold AFB.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to maintain qualification and authority to carry firearms.
Desired Qualification
  • Two-year’s work experience in a related position such as driver’s license agency, bank teller, office assistant or similar setting dealing with the public.
