General Manager – Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. – Tullahoma, Tennessee

Job Description:

  • Overall operation of the hotel: hiring, training, budgeting, sales, guest service, associate satisfaction, owner satisfaction, revenue management, and timely reporting.
  • Lead by example and live the “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy.
  • Develop and maintain a best‑in‑class hotel experience in alignment with company mission and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all required brand‑specific, Vision University, and health & safety training.
  • Adhere to Vision Hospitality Group and property brand standards.
  • Assist teams as needed and promote internal growth programs.
  • Meet/exceed company goals and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, brand standards, and legal requirements.
  • Set annual goals and develop associate career paths.
  • Recruit, train, and direct department managers and associates.
  • Develop annual operating and capital budgets and comply with corporate accounting procedures.
  • Lead the hotel's Sales & Marketing effort; assist in marketing plans.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service measured by satisfaction scores and online reviews.
  • Inspect property regularly and implement action plans for safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of hotel experience; AGM or operations management preferred.
  • Experience operating a “best in class” hotel.
  • Effective communication skills in writing, verbally, and in person.
  • Flexible schedule: nights, weekends, holidays; 24/7 availability required.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills with diversity awareness.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and work 8‑hour shifts.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm, evacuation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Perfect English hearing, speaking, and reading; required writes in English.
  • Dependable transportation.
