This entry-level position involves performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

• Assemble parts by placing them in specified relationships.
• Fasten parts using bolts, clips, screws, cements, or other methods.
• Cut products to specified measurements as needed.
• Remove defective products.
• Tend machines for force fitting or fastening operations.
• Work at different stations based on production needs.
• Adapt to changing tasks with different product models.
• Maintain safety by cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

No formal education or experience is required; prior carpentry experience is helpful.

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve straightforward problems.
• Overtime may be required.

Employees must stand continuously, use hands frequently, and occasionally climb or stoop. Must lift up to 25 pounds continuously, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. The environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and loud noise. Personal protective equipment is required.
