Responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of training and expertise, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. This is done in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Tennessee.

PRN, night shift (7 p m – 7 a m); minimum PRN commitment is 4 shifts in a 6‑week schedule including 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year.

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress towards goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Certification:
  Licensed Registered Nurse (Other licensure acceptable)
• Work Experience:
  
  Relevant experience in Labor & Delivery
• Experience Level: 1 year (or entry level)
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program
