Senior Accountant

Strategic Business Consulting Services has partnered with a growing company who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join the team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the team and company - helping them make sound business decisions.

This is a hybrid opportunity

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage all accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgeting
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Provide financial guidance and support to clients, including advising on financial strategies and assisting with budget planning
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
