Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Tulsa, OK / In Office

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 / Annually

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership of the full tax return process, values a collaborative work environment, and wants a position that offers true work/life balance. The Senior Tax Accountant will work closely with leadership and play a key role in building and refining internal tax capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and other entities—owning the entire return from start to finish.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Manage tax planning, research, and communication of tax impacts to leadership.
• Respond to IRS or state inquiries as needed (CPA/EA preferred for direct communication).
• Assist in building internal processes as the company transitions tax work away from an outside firm.
• Collaborate with the accounting team and maintain strong working relationships across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Hands‑on experience preparing full tax returns (not just components).
• CPA or EA strongly preferred to allow direct IRS interaction.
• 4–7+ years of tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi‑state tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and follow-through.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
