Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a divisional Controller. They will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise. Great company with great people and benefits!

• Oversee the accounting teams for Accounts Payable, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Capital Assets. Help develop the team and provide tools necessary to accomplish their goals
• Ensure daily and monthly accounting activity is recorded and supported property for periodic closes
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures as appropriate
• Look for ways to improve processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Review journal entries and reconciliations timely to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Working with others across the organization help assess any impairments on a quarterly basis
• Work with external and internal auditors providing information and responding to requests
• Involved with quarterly inventory control activities and site audits; overnight travel may be required occasionally
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies and applicable regulations

• Minimum of 8 year of accounting or finance experience with at least 2 in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems and expense management tools a plus;
  Advance Excel skills a must
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail with good time management skills
• Great attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary: $140K - $150K
