Accounting Manager

Xcaliber International LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager for our Tulsa headquarters. Xcaliber has a manufacturing facility in Pryor, OK.

The Accounting Manager position will be primarily responsible for ensuring monthly financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP, assisting with the annual external audit and various related functions including supervising inventory counts, documenting implementation of accounting standards and maintaining internal controls. The Accounting Manager will also prepare, file and or/review numerous financial reports as required by the US Government.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of public accounting experience, a CPA license and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of integrated manufacturing systems/ERPs and demonstrated manufacturing or cost/inventory knowledge is a plus.

• Review journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Supervise month-end closing activities ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data
• Prepare monthly and quarterly internal financial statements and management reports
• Prepare annual external consolidated financial statements and footnotes
• Supervise semi-annual inventory destructions and annual physical inventory counts
• Review new accounting pronouncements/guidance, assist with implementation of relevant standards, and prepare white papers documenting implementation
• Prepare annual goodwill analysis
• Assist in establishing, maintaining, documenting, and implementing internal controls
• Assist in annual audit process with external auditors
• Support the CFO and FP&A Manager in budgeting/forecasting process
• Supervision of Accounting staff
• Backup critical CFO/Controller duties
• Support other departments with information requests, as necessary
• Other duties and special projects as requested

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Three years in Public Accounting and five total years in progressive accounting experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups)
• Experience with other products in the Microsoft Office suite
• Critical thinking/analytical skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure and able to meet challenging deadlines
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Manufacturing experience
• Integrated manufacturing systems/ERP skills

Some travel to our manufacturing facility in Pryor will be required (typically less than 25% unless a special project is ongoing).
