Tax Manager

LHH is assisting our client on their search for a Tax Manager to join their public accounting firm in Tulsa, OK. This position will oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, and provide guidance on tax planning and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting tax experience, technical tax knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.

• Manage federal and state tax compliance and planning engagements
• Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities
• Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations to clients
• Serve as a primary point of contact and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on potential tax implications
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax staff and senior accountants
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Stay current on changes to federal and state tax regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably within public accounting
• Prior experience leading or managing tax engagements
• CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines
