Responsibilities and Expectations- Analyze existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Assist with process improvement opportunities, researching and developing operational standards and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased efficiency, and reduced costs.
- Apply data analysis and technological skills to fulfill data analysis requests, produce metric reports, and support business decisions using data.
- Collaborate with multiple company partners to ensure organizational alignment and project success.
- Assist in the development of change management activities.
- Develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements; research best business practices inside and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
- Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures focusing on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost.
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes.
- Determine how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
- May specialize in benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, or process-driven systems requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related major and five (5) years of experience. - OR High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years of experience in data analysis, project management, process improvement, or other related experience.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the utmost priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
- Preferred:
Proficiency with analytics languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Access, Oracle). - Preferred:
Proficiency with process mapping and value stream mapping. - Less than 10% travel.
