Must Do

• Care for students after school, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and assist with the coordination of Aftercare staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing.

• Support the Staff Childcare Coordinator in monitoring Aftercare staff schedules to maintain adequate child supervision and a safe and secure environment.
• Assist the Staff Childcare Coordinator in planning and organizing after-school activities, ensuring sufficient materials and engaging options are available.
• Prepare activity rooms and spaces in advance and ensure thorough clean-up afterwards.
• Communicate with LCS Elementary Office Staff to coordinate pick-up of kids after school, ensuring each child is checked out according to LCS policy.
• Promptly communicate any concerns to the Staff Childcare Coordinator.
• Foster positive relationships with families and children, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
• Assist with minor medical emergencies or first aid as needed.
