Senior Construction Administrator
About the Role
Cyntergy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Administrator to lead the construction phase of our retail and volume architectural and engineering projects. You'll serve as the bridge between design and construction-ensuring our projects are built to the highest standards of quality, schedule, and budget.
What You'll Do
• Lead construction administration for assigned projects: manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Conduct site observations and prepare detailed field reports to verify conformance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Provide estimating support throughout the project lifecycle:
• During design, collaborate with project teams to prepare cost estimates, validate budgets, and identify constructability opportunities.
• During construction, evaluate contractor pricing, review change orders, and support budget tracking.
• Enforce quality control and perform technical reviews for coordination and compliance.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to proactively resolve issues.
• Mentor junior team members in CA best practices and project communication.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive CA experience with an A/E or design-build firm.
• Strong knowledge of contract documents (AIA), specifications, and construction standards.
• Proficiency in Procore, Newforma, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel for on-site reviews as needed.
Preferred
• Licensed Architect or Engineer (or in progress).
• Experience with retail projects-ground-up, remodels, or national rollout programs.
• BIM familiarity (Revit).

Certifications:
PMP, CCM, AEP, or CEP.
• LEED or sustainable design experience.
