Represents and promotes a radio station at events and in the community, engaging with the public, distributing merchandise and promotional materials, assisting with event setup, running contests, and creating social media content to build the station’s brand. This role requires strong communication and people skills, physical stamina for event setup, a passion for music and the station’s brand, and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Event Execution: Assist with setting up and taking down promotional tents, banners, and audio equipment for events.
- Public Engagement: Interact with listeners and event attendees, represent the station brand, and create a positive, interactive presence.
- Promotional Distribution: Hand out flyers, stickers, merchandise, and product samples to the public.
- Contest Support: Run on-site contests and administer prizes to listeners.
- Social Media Content: Take photos and videos, post on social media, and help promote the station’s digital content.
- Brand Representation: Act as the “face” of the radio station and maintain a professional, energetic demeanor.
- Technical Support: Operate basic audio equipment and assist with on-site remote broadcasts.
- Vehicle Management: Drive promotional vehicles and perform basic maintenance on the vehicles and equipment.
