Universal Background Screening is a leading nationwide provider of background screening and drug testing services to business clients. We are ranked as one of the top companies in our field, and our Drug Testing/Occupational Health group strives to provide service excellence to our clients. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Supervisor DTOH to join our growing team.
The Supervisor DTOH will act as a primary resource to a team of DTOH Specialists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide coaching and motivateDTOHSpecialists to ensure performance goals are met.
- Responsiblefornew-hire onboarding and ongoing development of knowledge and skillset ofDTOHSpecialists.
- Handle Team Lead duties and daily miscellaneousDTOHtasks.
- Work with Management to ensure proper handling of all search?types and functions related toDTOH.
- Receive and disposition escalations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in?
Universal’s DTOH Dept or similar operations role, exhibiting strong leadership skills. - Demonstrated ability to solve problems within the bounds of department policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and assess information in a fast-paced environment.
- Listening and rapid comprehension skills; strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers, customer situations,vendors,and internal staff.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment.
- Must have an eye for detail and great organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills andproficiencyin:
Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel,Google Chrome, Internet Explorer,and other web applications. - Previous experience in background screening or FCRA requirements are a plus.

This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday.
Must be available for an in-person interview. Fluent English, both written and verbal, is required.
Selected candidates will be required to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Position Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems within the bounds of department policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within operations, customer service, or a related department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-based applications; experience using browsers such as Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
- Strong track record of effectively managing escalations and implementing resolution strategies in accordance with company policies.
- Ability to interpret and act on complex information in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence and composure in high-pressure situations involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also excelling in a team-oriented setting.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
